ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CATCH
Our second annual Fish Fry has concluded as of last night, eight fry’s in all this year. This is a
huge undertaking and a special thanks goes out to Jim Bischoff who chaired, managed, bossed,
and directed this show. Well done Jim,...super job.
Over 30 brother Knights worked the fish fry, helping to make it run like a well oiled machine.
The Ladies Auxiliary were also supportive in roles as order takers, and kitchen help. Their bakery goods/deserts sales profited them a little over $1000. A great success!
We finished the fry on a good note this year. Last year's Good Friday sales (on a rainy day) was
$700. Last night we took in $1300. The 2009 Fish Fry we profited a little over $5,000 total. The
final numbers are yet to be crunched for the 2010 total. Stay tuned.
Thanks to all who helped make this year's Fish Fry such a huge achievement. It’s a testament to
how blessed our council here at St. Joe’s really is. Our council is only as strong as the members
who support it. Quite possibly strong enough to win another “Double Star Award”! Job well done
guys.
